Imo advertising in this fashion by sportsbooks in invading threads is a big turnoff in the eyes of most and is self-defeating,

as it will make people less likely to tune into and buy into what they are promoting than if they did so elsewhere in the Forum.

The in-thread advertising kind of reminds me of being a spectator at a sporting event late in the game with the game on the line,

when a vendor stands right in front of you hawking his wares and blocks you from watching what is going on on
